Touch Protector non raccoglie, non trasmette e non condivide alcun dato personale. L'app non
ha accesso a internet e non contiene pubblicità né strumenti di analisi.
2. Dati trattati
L'unica cosa che l'app salva sono le tue preferenze: il gesto di sblocco scelto, l'attivazione della modalità
buio, lo spegnimento del display a schermo coperto, il timer di sblocco automatico, la vibrazione e la
lingua. Restano nella memoria privata dell'app sul tuo dispositivo, non vengono inviate a nessuno e si
cancellano disinstallando l'app.
Il contatore dei tocchi bloccati esiste solo nella memoria volatile durante una sessione di blocco e non
viene salvato.
3. Permessi richiesti e perché
- Disegno sopra altre app (
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): serve a mostrare la
finestra che assorbe i tocchi, cioè la funzione stessa dell'app. Quella finestra non legge nulla di ciò
che c'è sotto: si limita a ricevere i tocchi al posto dell'app sottostante.
- Notifiche (
POST_NOTIFICATIONS): serve a mostrare la notifica permanente,
che dice che il blocco è attivo e contiene il pulsante Sblocca, una delle vie di uscita dal blocco.
- Servizio in primo piano (
FOREGROUND_SERVICE,
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE): mantiene attivo il blocco finché non lo disattivi.
- Wake lock (
WAKE_LOCK): serve solo a spegnere il display quando il sensore
di prossimità è coperto, se attivi quell'opzione.
L'app non richiede permessi di posizione, fotocamera, microfono, contatti, archiviazione o telefono.
4. Rilevamento delle chiamate
Per sospendere il blocco quando arriva una chiamata, l'app osserva la modalità audio del sistema (su Android
12 e successivi) o lo stato della linea (sulle versioni precedenti). Legge soltanto se una chiamata è in
corso: non accede al numero di telefono, all'identità del chiamante né al registro chiamate.
5. Cancellazione dei dati
Disinstallando l'app le preferenze salvate spariscono con lei. Non esiste nessuna copia altrove.

1. In short
Touch Protector does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. The app has no
internet access and contains no ads and no analytics.
2. Data processed
The only thing the app stores is your preferences: the chosen unlock gesture, blackout mode, screen off when
the display is covered, the automatic unlock timer, vibration and language. They stay in the app's private
storage on your device, are never sent anywhere, and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
The blocked touches counter only lives in volatile memory during a lock session and is never saved.
3. Permissions requested, and why
- Display over other apps (
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): needed to show the window
that absorbs touches, which is the app's own purpose. That window reads nothing of what is underneath:
it simply receives the touches instead of the app below.
- Notifications (
POST_NOTIFICATIONS): needed for the ongoing notification,
which tells you the lock is active and carries the Unlock button, one of the ways out of the lock.
- Foreground service (
FOREGROUND_SERVICE,
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE): keeps the lock alive until you turn it off.
- Wake lock (
WAKE_LOCK): used only to turn the display off when the
proximity sensor is covered, if you enable that option.
The app requests no location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage or phone permissions.
4. Call detection
To suspend the lock when a call comes in, the app watches the system audio mode (on Android 12 and later) or
the call state (on earlier versions). It only reads whether a call is in progress: it never accesses the
phone number, the caller identity or the call log.
5. Data deletion
Uninstalling the app removes the stored preferences with it. There is no copy anywhere else.
